Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the questions our Springfield and Eugene patients ask most about auto injury treatment, insurance, and what to expect.

FAQs

Auto Injury & Insurance

I was in a car accident but don't feel hurt. Should I still get checked?

Yes. Whiplash and other soft-tissue injuries often don't produce symptoms for days or weeks after a crash. Getting evaluated early gives you the best chance at a full recovery and documents your injury in case symptoms develop later.

Will my auto insurance cover treatment at Cascade Health Center?

We work with all major auto insurance carriers and help you navigate the claims process, including coordinating with your adjuster. Bring your claim number and adjuster's name and phone number to your first visit.

What should I bring to my first appointment?

A copy of your driver's license, your insurance card, and — if you're being seen for a car accident — your claim number and adjuster contact information.
FAQs

Chiropractic & General Care

Can adjustments break my neck or back?

No reason to be scared. If you could break your neck or back from a quick twist, you would die every time you checked your mirrors to change lanes on the highway.

How long does an appointment take?

Chiropractic visits run up to 45 minutes for an initial consultation and 15-30 minutes for follow-ups. Acupuncture visits run up to 1.5 hours for a first visit and an hour or less for follow-ups.

What insurances do you accept?

We accept all automobile insurance, Aetna, Blue Cross, Cigna, Medicare, PacificSource, Providence, Trillium, UMR, and United Healthcare.

Is chiropractic care safe after a car accident?

Yes. Chiropractic adjustments are a non-invasive, drug-free way to relieve pressure on injured muscles and nerves and realign the spine after an accident. Our doctor evaluates you fully before recommending treatment.

Do you accept walk-ins?

Call ahead at (541) 343-4343 to schedule; we'll do our best to accommodate urgent auto injury evaluations quickly.
